We happen to get another beautiful snow in early January, and I had to post some of the pretty pictures. I only got a few in our neighborhood because I was quickly distracted. This is what you see as you turn out of our neighborhood. This is just a small section of this huge, beautiful farm. There's railing and a ditch in front of the farm but, there's only a short distance of railing in front of that ditch.So...If you pull out with your camera and cell phone in your lap because you just have to take pictures of the pretty scenery and don't realize that it could be slick...This happens. Yep, you spin around and slam right smack dab into a telephone pole while your coffee splatters all over your car. This was my choice on the other side of the road. You can see why I opted for the pole.
The damage is very minimal but I really thought it was going to be terrible. Just a small crack that probably isn't worth fixing. Oh, and my license plate holder was knocked off but, Tennessee doesn't require a front plate anyway so no biggie. I'm just thankful I stopped at the pole and didnt't go right through the fence. Whew!
After a few frantic attempts and flinging of mud, I finally shimmied outta there. Nathan was staying home with the kids since school was closed and begged me not to go to work after he inspected everything. Are you crazy?! I get paid by the hour, boy! I promised to go slow on my long journey and let him know as soon as I was safe in my office. Everyone at work knew about my little accident by the time I walked in and were smiling and giggling. All three lawyers had some wise crack to make and, one of them found it funny to start calling me Crash. Hardee har har, people!
