Mostly just picture posts for the unforeseeable future. Blah but it'll have to do. Sorry, Texas.

FIREWORKS

Yep, it's nearly the end of September and this is a Fourth of July post. Ahhh well. We went to the neighboring itty bitty town of Medina to watch fireworks that were being set off at the middle school. Notice I didn't say A middle school, I said THE middle school. Just craziness when you grow up in a heavily populated area.
Brooke was saying, "Wowww" at some kids shooting off small fireworks across the street.Oh my gosh...After waiting close to 2 hours, the sky finally started lighting up with pretty colors. I just knew the show would be lame for this small area but, it actually turned out to be quite nice. Next time we'll know to go with friends and bring stuff to do to pass the time until the sun goes down.
When we got home, I just happen to notice the county line sign just yards away from our house. What?! That means we live just barely outside the county line and could have popped fireworks in our cul-de-sac. Darn it!!!!

TEXAS RANGERS GAME

You gotta go see the Rangers play at least once a year...No matter where you live. The whole atmosphere at that stadium is so just cool. My parents were sweet enough to treat us to see the Texas Rangers while we were in town. Awesome! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Check out Nathan's (and my older brother's) old high school basketball coach still working on the yard crew. I think Coach Hernandez has been a hoser in his spare time for close to 30 years. We love Ian Kinsler...That cat is just so cool. Cole likes to wear his baseball pants like that just because he does.Win or lose, you always hope to see the Rangers hit at least one home run so you can see the fireworks go off and hear that super cool home run song...Dun nuh de duh duh Dun nuh de duh duh Dun nuh de nuhnuhnuh...You know how it goes. :)
Love some Michael Young, too. Josh Hamilton didn't play this game but, we can't go without at least mentioning his name.
Quick cheese in the walkway of the Rangers stadium with the new Dallas Cowboys stadium in the background.
Yea that's probably the closest I'll ever get to seeing that mega million dollar machine. The Rangers were playing so well and, we were all so caught up in the excitement of hit after hit that we didn't even notice Brooke messing with her extremely loose tooth. All of a sudden she yelled, "My tooth came out!" Say what?! She was pumped...That is after she verified that the Tennessee tooth fairy would still come visit her at Grandma's house in Texas.
When it was time to go to bed we couldn't find that stinking tooth anywhere. Luckily, my dad still had some baby teeth from when I was a kid and just picked one that looked closest to Brooke's. Wow. Awesome that he saved the day but yet kinda disgusting at the same time.
Poor girl can't get that other front tooth to grow in for nuthin'.
I couldn't resist taking a picture of my pretty toes stretched out across the seats for all to see...Courtesy of Nathan's softball boys. Like!
