Mostly just picture posts for the unforeseeable future. Blah but it'll have to do. Sorry, Texas.

FALL BASEBALL

Fall baseball this year was a bit of a cluster but yet a ton better than last fall.  We didn't have enough kids to make our own team so we were put together with two other teams that didn't have enough either.  Yea we pretty much brought the best kids.  Fall ball is meant to basically be a practice session to help the kids transition to the next level but, it would still be nice to have a really strong team.
Nathan told Cole he could grow his hair out all summer as long as he put a hat on wherever we went until it was decent enough to fix.  Oh man, his hair is soooo not the Justin Bieber type.  Cole just wanted to be able to flip it but, hair that is thick like hay doesn't quite fall the right way.  It did finally look cute with some strong hair putty to hold most of it down and yet leave a little flippin' room in the front.
However, a trim was a must after seeing that peacock on the back of his head.
Brooke loved playing with these girls and listening to music.  They would awkwardly sing out loud sometimes.  Too funny.  They would all bring stuff and have a good 'ole time.

It was frustrating for Cole not having decent pitchers to work with because he spends so much time chasing balls and trying to do more than he should by himself.  And batters are walked way too many times.  Nathan ended up letting Cole pitch a few times.  It's funny that Cole can easily whiz a ball from home plate to any base but gently throws it to home when he's pitching.  Not quite his thing but he loves the center stage of being on the mound.

We did make some good friends during the season and Cole got some great one on one training in catching from one of the other coaches that helped him tremendously.
Two games were played on either Saturday or Sunday each weekend.  We got lucky with only having 2 times that a football game was right before.  You can imagine how tired Cole was after playing a whole football game as quarterback and defensive end and then two baseball games as catcher.  It was tiring just watching him!
Awww...Brooke looks so sweet and innocent.  Don't let her fool you though...She packs an attitude that will punch you right in the gut and knock the breath out of you.  Maybe she'll use that attitude for good and keep the boys away from her when she's a teenager.
Look at those angel kisses all across his face.  Love.

Can't wait for the Spring season to start!
