Mostly just picture posts for the unforeseeable future. Blah but it'll have to do. Sorry, Texas.

COWBOYS FOOTBALL (two)

One minute he's so tough...

And the next minute he's so cool.
Cole actually wanted to quit football the second week of practice...GASP!  Whaaaa???  Being his first time playing Quarterback, he wasn't used to being blind sided with tackles while trying to get rid of the football.  He got hit so hard that it knocked the breath out of him and felt like his daddy didn't care because he pretty much kept going with practice and didn't run to him and comfort him like he did all the other players.  It's hard being the coach where you have to worry so much about what the parents are thinking.
And it's hard being the coach's kid.   It was kind of sad but, we talked about it, said we don't quit just like that, and got him some better gear to protect him.  The rib pads worked out great and helped lessen the blow on the hits.
Looks like a nice father and son moment on the sidelines, right?  Nope.  Nathan is actually griping at Cole for making careless mistakes or something and Cole is crying because he got sent out of the game for the first time all season long.  Oh yea, it was because he got a personal foul and a 15 yard penalty for flattening some kid after the whistle.  In Cole's defense, that kid was a punk and that team was playing so dirty.

He said, "Dad keeps yellllling at me."  Poor thing...Lol

Look at this sweet girl.  She often complains at first about going to practices and games but, she usually does have a good time.  Before I know it, she'll actually be paying close attention to the games because she'll have her eye on some cute boy playing.

I can hear Nathan now...Must. Lift. Weights.
