Mostly just picture posts for the unforeseeable future. Blah but it'll have to do. Sorry, Texas.

CHRISTMAS EVE

The darkness set in and the festivities of Christmas Eve were finally upon us. We had a great day passing the time, but those presents under the tree were just begging to ripped open.

We all took our usual family pictures in front of the tree, whether everyone wanted to or not. Ours was decent enough, but it never turns out like I'd hoped. I think it's me...Obviously.
All the cousins sang a few songs while waiting for all of the parents to get situated and finish up any last minute necessities. They were so cute.

Grandpa made a Christmas Story for the kids to read out loud before they broke into the stockings and presents. It was very sweet and will hopefully be a tradition that continues for many years to come.
Dayley, Carley and Emiley
Brooke said she told Santa that she wanted new horse stories. I forgot to get them for our Christmas, but luckily Grandma came through for her.
Aunt Leslie put a horse necklace in Brooke's stocking...She loooved it!
Looks like Emiley thinks 13 is too old to wear the Santa hat that Grandma insists must be worn to pass out presents.
Cole and Carley
Another beautiful book full of horse stories.
Sweet little Dayley...She makes everyone smile so easily.
Cole is embarrassed of this picture but I really like it. I think it's just adorable.
We got to Nathan's parents' house pretty late and found this in the front yard.
A "Chris Angel" made by our 14 yr old nephew, Christopher. Pretty cool.
